Motorbike Accident- BRL’s Story

An UPDATE: BRL, broke/shattered his knee on his damaged leg. The leg that has a prothesis. Which will now take time to heal (a few months ago), only 12mths or so after finalising payments. I have to contact him for an further update. Terrible news. All the best, if you read this first.
These are the images resulting from a motorbike accident. Where a driver of a car went through a round about after hesitation to hit the rider. She left the scene, and returned. She has a friend in the police department. Should that be an issue no. Have the police threatened this victim to drop the case? Threatened him to not accept any insurance help? Did they obstruct the insurance company? Did they advise the girl to admit no fault therefore lie? Did they raise their voice, threaten him, verbally abuse him? Yes. (He was 75% plus through the round about at the time, they lied on statements and threw away a witness statement)
He has lost his leg with the failed stabilisation, knee/below. Needing a $13,000 leg, so he may return to work with the best opportunity. Trusting the justice system they have given him this leg. Legs range $5000-$13,000 plus only some are good for hard workers. He was supposed to be receiving 3 legs, this was approved by the insurance company before the girl decided to become a nasty introvert and gave way to the comfort of police friends, whom for some reason believe that them obstructing justice, the law and insurance procedures is some how in their title and working for the people is not. It is against the rights and freedoms of the people. It causes pain, trauma, expense and time to the system.
We dont do favours today because the system has been written, you must follow it or you are obstructing it, you can’t do favours, there is no room to move. Liars are the ones who keep messing everything up, they are criminals.
The place of the accident, 2 years after the incident one of the poles has been stabilised with a loose screw, and the pole still remains split. The bike hit, he flew to the left approx 20mtrs. He is living only 1-2km from it, it is on the corner of the cities RSL club, it is quite vulgar for them to not remove the trauma from this site. This is lax from the police to not report to the council and extremely cruel.
He has not finalised his court case. To all involved it is clear including the forensics of the accident, it was NOT his fault, there is no way around it. He has been fined, he lost his licence. She was not charged for leaving the site, she has not been charged for anything. She will pay for this and so will all involved.
It is important to ensure you keep the names of all involved, this constable needs to lose his job immediately. (RH). This sort of obstruction leaves the victim, needing multiple legs, a new leg every two years, no financial assistance, with the reliance of specialist and intelligent people who act within the law to ensure he is receiving what he needs, although it is even more than he has. And to ensure that people who break the law should be held accountable. The amount to be received should not be negotiable it should be the highest award, by the book. No mediation. Court date is mid 2018.
Who thought it was so expensive to make a leg hey, who thought that even though you need three, should have four and an in house shoe for the leg. He has only have one, until a court hearing, in a justice system that takes years, and a whole lot of money. It is terribly aggravating, neglectful by the government.
He is working. He has to work through pain, and trying to figure out how to make this Christmas busy season at work less painful (50 plus hours a week). By adjusting, creating and adding to the leg. Something that is not provided, no matter the cost, it is not the best. He is not addicted to medications. He gained 30-40 kgs, he lost half of it. How you can do that in hospital was beyond me, they were letting him eat other food. Empathy, enabling, allowing someone who is needing to learn to use one leg, to gain so much weight, is a form of gross neglect. Even if coming from a nice place.
So I am looking into 3d printing machines, I am going to make them and other apparatus’, prosthesis myself. This is ridiculous. Will be making a back assist also. It is what you have to do to keep moving forward. The amount of self-made straps and things I have had to do you can’t even count. Will accept donation/Investments for this and any advice and assistance. Thank You. I have been designing them for years.
Pray for him, and keep all children safe from adults and police, people in positions of power, let them not be able to abuse that power, if they do, they must be held totally accountable for doing so. Amen.
